<![CDATA[On April 2, 2019, the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) joined over 80 digital rights advocacy groups in a letter supporting the 2019 Save the Internet Act. The Act would restore the 2015 Open Internet Order net neutrality protections (no blocking, no throttling, and no paid prioritization) and reinstate stronger transparency rules. Under the Act, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) would also resume regulatory authority over the internet and responsibility for policing Internet Service Provider conduct.]]>
