NHMC amplifies the documentary With This Light, which tells the
incredible story of Sister Maria Rosa Leggol
Sister Maria Rosa Leggol, known to those as a rebel nun or a force of nature, dedicated over 70 years of her life ensuring impoverished children of Honduras had the opportunities to escape poverty. In her lifetime, Sister Maria Rosa saved over 87,000 children in Honduras from living a life full of poverty and violence. This remarkable story shows how Sister Maria Rosa chose to go down her own path in life and how her legacy and vision now lives on with two teens who benefitted from her program, when they were young.
The upcoming documentary, With This Light will hold screenings in New York, Chicago, Houston, New Orleans and Los Angeles starting August 11th. With This Light will debut on video on demand beginning August 15th.
