Isabela Merced

Actress, Singer, Dancer, and Songwriter
"I'm proud to join the Visionary Alliance because I know what it feels like to not see yourself in the stories around you. The National Hispanic Media Coalition has been fighting to change that, and I want to be part of that fight. Our voices, our faces, and our histories matter. And I’m here to make sure they’re not just included, but celebrated. As an artist and as a proud Peruvian, I believe every story we tell is a thread back to who we are and I want ours woven into everything. I believe we can create a safe and understanding space where we are free to be ourselves and free to tell our stories the way they were meant to be told."
