BIO

Gabriel Luna is an actor, producer and musician.

Luna can be seen in the HBO drama series “The Last Of Us” as ‘Tommy Miller’ starring alongside Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. The series is based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same name and premiered in January 2023.

He has recently wrapped on the Netflix series “Fubar” opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger. The spy action series was created by Nick Santora and produced by Skydance Television and Blackjack Films.
In 2019, Luna appeared as the new ‘Terminator’ in Tim Miller’s “Terminator: Dark Fate” opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Mackenzie Davis. The film takes place 27 years after the events of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”

The same year, Luna was also seen as ‘Mr. Lawrence’ in Apple’s “Hala,” a film written and directed by Minhal Baig that premiered in Sundance. The film follows a Pakistani-American teenaged girl struggling between two cultures.
In 2016, Luna starred in the independent film “Transpecos” which won the Audience Award at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival. Luna plays ‘Lance Flores,’ one of three Border Patrol agents working a remote US/Mexico desert checkpoint. Greg Kweder directed and co-wrote the film alongside Cline Bentley.

Luna appeared as ‘Quesada’ opposite Julianne Moore, Elliot Page and Steve Carrell in Peter Sollett’s “Freeheld.” The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015.

Additional film credits include “Gravy,” “Balls Out,” “Spring Eddy,” “Bernie,” “Dance with the One” and “Fall to Grace.”

In television, Luna is best known as ‘Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes’ in the ABC-Marvel series “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” The first season aired in 2013 while the last season 7 premiered in 2020. Luna’s first starring role came in 2014 with his portrayal of ‘Tony Bravo,’ a skilled CIA operative juggling a covert life as well a public persona as a popular soccer player, in Robert Rodriguez’ series “Matador.” The American series was produced by Rodriguez and Andrew Orci for Rodriguez’ media brand El Rey Network.

Additional television credits include Discovery Channel’s mini-series “Harley And The Davidsons,” “True Detective” and “Wicked City.”

Luna is a native of Austin, Texas.

We lead the work to eliminate online hate and disinformation across media platforms. We advocate in the space of Artificial Intelligence when it intersects with civil & human rights, including making sure Latino-Interest and children’s protections are included in AI initiatives and implementations. We advocate for the Affordable Connectivity Program, Lifeline Program, Net Neutrality protections, and closing the digital divide for Latino and other marginalized communities. NHMC works in partnership with other social justice organizations to safeguard democracy in the United States of America.
