<![CDATA[Today, NHMC and a number of leading civil rights groups sent a letter to the FCC urging it to seek comment on recently released data about media ownership by women and people of color before moving forward with proposed changes to media ownership rules. Without "rigorous public review ... any action ... is premature," wrote the groups in the letter.
