Francella Ochillo, Director, Government & Legal Affairs, and Brianna Posadas, Media Democracy Fund fellow, represented NHMC at the Allied Media Conference (AMC) held this year from June 14-17 at Wayne State University in Detroit. This was AMC’s 20th year and also the most attended conference with over 3,000 attendees. AMC brings together grassroots organizations, non-profits, policy advocates, and community organizers who use participatory media for social justice organizing.
The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) is a 35-year-old non-profit organization that builds bridges, creates opportunities, resources, and connects Latinx talent with the entertainment industry.
