The sequel to the 90’s cult classic is here! Practical Magic 2 follows a multi-generational family of witches who are cursed to be loveless for centuries. Stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as two sisters who must confront the dark curse threatening to unravel their family once and for all. But breaking the spell means facing buried secrets and making the ultimate sacrifice for each other.
Joining the cast is NHMC Impact Award Honoree Xolo Maridueña, bringing his own magical touch to the screen.

Join Whittier Pride on Saturday, September 26th for the Whittier Pride Festival!
Whittier Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to promoting equality, diversity, self-awareness, family values, health and wellness in all its forms through community outreach and fundraising events.
The festivities begin at 11:15 AM PT with the Mental Health Parade March. The starting point is Whittier CIty Hall and it will end at Whittier College where the festival is taking place.
From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM PT, enjoy the Arts and Film Festival featuring delicious food trucks, local artists, vendors, dancing, and stage entertainment including Mariachi performances, comedians, and a dog show.
No tickets needed, just show up, be yourself and celebrate!

The 2026 New York Latino Film Festival (NYLFF) is taking place from September 15th to September 20th across different venues in New York City.
NYLFF is the premier Urban Latino film event in the country. It was built on a mission to cultivate audiences for Latino cinema, champion emerging and established storytellers, and create meaningful pathways into the entertainment industry.
This year's lineup will feature narrative shorts, international feature films, impactful documentaries, and spectrum shorts. Beyond the screen, attendees can take advantage of free industry panels and the signature Futuro Digital Conference.
