Graham Greene (Dances With Wolves) and Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon) will play Maya’s grandparents, ‘Skully’ and ‘Chula’; Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs) will play Maya’s cousin, ‘Bonnie’; and Chaske Spencer (The Twilight Saga) will play her uncle, Henry.

The series features Navajo filmmaker Sydney Freeland (Reservation Dogs) as she directs the bulk of the series, along with Aboriginal Australian filmmaker Catriona McKenzie (Shining Vale).
All episodes of Echo are now available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+.

True Detective: Night Country holds anew case and new terrain with season four. The series returns after the first season premiered ten years ago, continuing the legacy of thrilling storytelling, with women at the forefront. Jodie Foster plays ‘Detective Liz Danvers,’ in her first TV role since 1975, who Foster identifies as an “Alaska Karen.” Kali Reis joins Foster, in her first acting role, as her partner Detective Evangeline Navarro.

When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice. The story explores mystery, dark evils, and supernatural elements as we follow the six-episode series.

Nic Pizzolatto, the original creator of the series, is back with the new season as executive producer, and Mexican-born and raised Issa López serves as showrunner, writer, director, and executive producer. López will have viewers feeling refreshed with the new season as it has received a score of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.
