Disney is currently launching their 22nd annual

Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase

Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase, will present a group of emerging Actors in an industry-invited virtual event.  They are seeking a Writer or co-Writing team (18 years of age or older) to write for this year’s Showcase.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: MONDAY, MARCH 27th at 8:59pm PST (11:59pm EST)

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE: 

The Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase continues to serve as a launching pad for discovering new talent, including Academy Award® winner Lupita Nyong’o (“12 Years a Slave”), Chadwick Boseman (“Black Panther”), Golden Globe® winner Gina Rodriguez (“Jane The Virgin”), Randall Park (“Fresh Off the Boat”), Pedro Pascal (“The Last of Us”), and others too numerous to mention.  Former Showcase Writers have gone on to write for shows such as “Home Economics”, “Love, Victor”, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, and “Hacks”.

We advocate for the Affordable Connectivity Program, Lifeline Program, Net Neutrality protections, and closing the digital divide for Latino and other marginalized communities. NHMC works in partnership with other social justice organizations to safeguard democracy in the United States of America.
