Building Community: Indigenous Food Panel
The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) hosted its latest Building Community episode, which brought together various Indigenous chefs. “The panel was centered around their relationship with Indigenous food, and how they grew up with different but similar experiences that allowed them to learn about their Indigenous ancestral food and ingredients,” writes Denise Florez of Caló News. This episode specifically dives into the decolonization of Mexican food and the future of how we identify Latino cuisine.
This insightful discussion is a must-watch for all food lovers.
