Community Organizers to Hold City of  Whittier Candidate Forum

In an effort to inform the City of Whittier residents of candidates on the upcoming ballot for representatives in District 2, District 4, and City  Mayor, local Whittier organizations are holding a Whittier Candidate Forum for the public. The goal is to give residents the facts firsthand about a candidate’s viewpoint on important issues which affect the everyday lives of Whittier residents.

Issues that everyday residents have concerns about, like affordability, safety, diversity and inclusion, election cycles, and the environment will be addressed during the forum. In doing so, it encourages residents to vote on Election Day,  April 14th. Democracy in the United States can only thrive when all of us are engaged.

Award-winning anchors Sandra Cervantes and Oswaldo Borraez of TelevisaUnivision will moderate the forum.
