NHMC Impacts LA - Latino Goth Scene en LA

December 15, 2025

Our newest Building Community episode is here, and we are talking about the enriched culture that has been steadily growing in the streets of Los Angeles. Building off the hype from NHMC’s first blog post on Substack, our panelists expand on the subject of goth music, its culture, and answer the long-asked question, “What is the deal with Latinos and Morrissey?”

The NHMC LA Impact: Latino Goth Scene Panel is a celebration of how Latinos in Los Angeles have shaped, sustained, and transformed the Goth scene into a powerful third space of belonging. Featuring artists, organizers, and creatives, the conversation explores this scene of resistance through the lens of our community. It’s a moment to honor the ways Latinos have defined cultural movements.

Moderated by Actress and 2025 NHMC Impact Award honoree, Danielle Pineda. Our dais of panelists features horror queens, Tina Estrella, Dahlia Luxx, resident DJ of Goth Cumbia and the NHMC Impact Awards Gala, DJ Sizzle, and the Gothtio himself, Rey Garcia.
