This incredible film is helmed by the extraordinary director and writer, Ángel Manuel Soto (Charm City Kings, The Farm) and Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (Miss Bala).

This powerhouse cast features Latinx stars that bring the Reyes family to life.

Xolo Maridueña (Cobra Kai) is the charismatic star who brings the newest addition to the roster of DC stars before him. He embodies the character of Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle. Bruna Marquezine (Maldivas, God Save the King) plays Jenny Kord, daughter of Ted Kord, determined to protect the family name. Belissa Escobedo (American Horror Stories, Hocus Pocus 2) as Milagro Reyes, wise-cracking younger sister to Jaime who helps him keep it real. Susan Sarandon (Monarch, Dead Man Walking) stars as Victoria Kord. George Lopez (the Rio and Smurf franchises) will play Uncle Rudy Reyes. Elpidia Carollo (Mayans M.C., the Predator films) as Rosio Reyes and Damián Alcázar (Narcos, Narcos: Mexico) as Alberto Reyes - Jaime’s parents; Adrianna Barraza (Rambo: Last Blood, Thor) as Nana; Raul Max Trujillo (the Sicario films, Mayans M.C.) as Carapax; and NHMC Visionary Alliance member Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) as Dr. Sanchez round out the cast.

As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.
