NHMC to Recognize Senator Menendez and Congresswoman Roybal-Allard

Washington, D.C. – November 13, 2012 – Tomorrow evening, the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) will present Senator Robert Menendez and Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard with Impact Awards for their outstanding service and commitment to the Latino community at its annual Washington, D.C. Impact Awards Reception hosted by the National Association of Broadcasters at their headquarters. Several years ago, NHMC began honoring those individuals or entities whose achievements, generosity of spirit, and courage under fire, have greatly benefited the welfare of the nation in the areas of media and telecommunications. Past honorees have included FCC Commissioners Mignon L. Clyburn and Michael J. Copps, and then-Congresswoman Hilda Solis.
