National Hispanic Media Coalition Convenes 3rd Annual New York Impact Awards Reception to Honor Local Latino Leaders

NEW YORK— On Thursday, November 9 at 6:30 pm, the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) will honor media professionals based in the New York-area for their leadership and contributions to the Latino community. Honorees are represented on a variety of platforms including print, TV, digital and the non-profit sector. Event Details: WHAT: Reception honoring New York area trailblazers whose achievements, generosity of spirit and courage under fire, have greatly benefited the Latino community. WHO: Honorees include: Gerson Borrero, Editor-at-large for City & State Magazine; Political Editor and Host, HITN; Political Commentator, Spectrum News NY1/NY1 Noticias – Excellence in Media Journalism Kat Lazo, Online Content Creator, and Video Producer, Mitú – Excellence in Online Storytelling Elizabeth Yeampierre, Executive Director, UPROSE – Outstanding Service and Commitment to the Latino Community J. David (Dave) Davis, President, and General Manager, WABC-TV – Outstanding Service and Commitment to the Latino community Jeanine Ramirez, reporter for Spectrum News NY1 and former NHMC Impact Award recipient, will emcee the event.
