National Hispanic Media Coalition on Federal Court Ruling to Halt Trump Administration’s Travel Ban

In response to yesterday’s federal court ruling in Hawaii, Alex Nogales, president and CEO of the National Hispanic Media Coalition said: “This decision is a victory for all refugee families who seek safe haven in the U.S., and the communities who seek to welcome them here. We applaud the federal court in Hawaii for blocking the Trump administration’s dangerous travel ban and commend all the non-profit organizations engaged in challenging the administration on its prejudicial executive orders. We owe all of you a debt of gratitude. The ban would have endangered families fleeing violence and persecution and we urge the courts to continue to uphold the U.S. Constitution.”
