Opportunities at NHMC The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) is media advocacy and civil rights organization for the advancement of Latinos, working towards a media that is fair and inclusive of Latinos, and towards universal, affordable and open access to communications. NHMC understands that people will be treated as they are perceived, and that Latinos and other people of color have long suffered discrimination at the hands of the media. At the same time, the media can be a powerful tool to transform culture if it prominently and accurately represents diverse people and includes social justice narratives.
