This position will be responsible for proper operation and maintenance of automated newsroom and production system and all associated sub-systems. This includes but not limited to: automated audio, Sony HD switcher and Sony ELC, robotic cameras, BitCentral and its corresponding sub systems. Must be accomplished in IT equipment within the television station, including network systems, switches, routers, computers (Servers and PC). The desired candidate should have experience in non-linear editing systems, news gathering systems such as TVU, LiveU, ENG, SNG, video streaming and have an understanding of MESH networks. Additional experience with News Ticker, Chyron graphics and its related subsystems as well as the operation and maintenance of iTX automated master control system and its sub-systems, station-air path RF systems, HD/SD-SDI routing systems, file based systems for program and commercial ingesting are highly desirable.

The qualifies candidate will be required to document daily tasks, projects, and coordinate CAD documentation. Ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ equivalent experience.  Ability to work nights, overtime, weekends and holidays.
