Network Sales Planner General Job Description: The Network Sales Planner will aid our Account Executives aggressively hunting for business as well as maintain and grow existing business. Core responsibilities will include client and agency interface, building plans, maintaining inventory, attending client social events, and support of the sales team. The NSP will be responsible for liaising with Planning/Inventory and Integrating Marketing and have experience in creating compelling presentations. This NSP will manage a small number of Direct Response accounts. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by creating media plans to meet advertiser and category objectives. Address client needs. Build media plans and schedule units based on inventory avails. Prepare and revise Upfront and Scatter sales plans that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency/client requirements. Collaborate and brainstorm with the team in the creation of proactive and strategic proposals. Ensure media plans include accurate pricing and utilize approved products and available inventory and adhere to defined business processes to ensure optimal program performance. Complete additional projects as directed by Strategic Planning and Ad Sales Finance Management. Assist in the coordination of sales marketing materials. Proposal Maintenance and Stewardship: Work closely with Sales, Strategic Planning, and Commercial Ops to manage all preemptions and programming changes - recommend schedules according to availability, generate flow charts to reflect all changes, cancellation option and expansion options. Work closely with Inventory Managers to coordinate plan approvals. Client Service: Develop a strong understanding of our products and solutions for advertisers. Assist in the creation of effective go to market tools for the sales team. Establish relationships with agency and advertiser partners. Respond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and research. Liaise with Sales, Strategic Planning, Ad Sales Finance, Commercial Ops, and Marketing to ensure sold schedules run. Other duties, as assigned. Requirements: University/College Degree Minimum of 3 years experience in media sales/planning Strong knowledge of media math and audience metrics Strong analytical skills Must have flawless attention to detail Proven ability to work in a fast moving environment Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once.
