Help Desk Technician

KSNV, in Las Vegas, Nevada, is looking for a motivated Help Desk Technician. This individual will provide technical and operational support for all computer systems. Job Responsibilities: Configure and maintain the organization’s internal computer network Manage network security tools, e.g., firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems Identify, troubleshoot, solve, and document network connectivity and performance issues Install and support telephones and other network telecommunications devices Monitor network performance and optimize the network for optimal speed and availability
Requirements: Required Skills: Possess analytical problem solving skills Ability to quickly grasp technical issues and offer solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outgoing and enthusiastic personality Professional business demeanor Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients Required Experience: One (1) year experience working in a mid-size organization with relevant system support experience
